This is a good game for children who are just beginning to count. The directions are fairly simple and easy to follow, and the numbers are small.
One major problem with this game is the game board. First, young children are sometimes unable to distinguish which tree goes with which bucket, and end up taking cherries off the wrong tree and/or putting cherries in the wrong bucket. Second, with the spinner in the middle of the board, children often knock cherries off trees in the process of spinning the spinner. Both of these problems can be solved easily by simply cutting the board up into five parts (4 trees and buckets and the spinner).
Hi-Ho Cherry O! is made by Parker Brothers.
