Tinkering in the Kitchen: Exploring the Beginning of Chemical Engineering

Young children love to cook!  Cooking is a grown-up activity that engages children in all aspects of STEM and provides an opportunity for meaningful literacy experiences.  Participants will explore the educational value of using child-tested recipes.  Safe and practical chemistry for young children, using simple kitchen appliances to produce tasty learning!
