Explore a new way to use the pattern blocks available in many high-quality early childhood classrooms.  These puzzle frames challenge children as they develop spatial thinking that is essential in STEM disciplines.  As they learn, they build cognitive flexibility, working memory, and inhibitory control.  Participants will have the opportunity to play with the materials and discuss how to use them in their mathematics curriculum.
